MedOne Test Prep was developed for medical students preparing for the USMLE® Step 1.
MedOne Test Prep Features 4,200 clinical questions and answers that test high-yield basic science concepts across the organ systems that you are likely to encounter on USMLE® Step 1. Questions can be selected by basic science and organ system, and by level (easy, medium, difficult). Questions can also be selected by seen before/unseen before, with images/without images, and answered correctly/answered incorrectly.
Upon completing a session, you will be able to track your results for that session, by simply clicking the statistics tab. The statistics page will also show cumulative statistics for all sessions that you have completed, month-by-month.
MedOne Test Prep offers a free trial with access to 200 questions. Before starting your trial, you will need to register and create a MedOne Test Prep username and password. After registering, you will receive an e-mail with an activation link, click the link to complete registration.
Questions are filtered at random from the available pool. In some cases, you may get fewer questions than you selected, if there are not enough questions in the pool, due to filter selections.
We offer unlimited access for one-month, three-months, six-months, or twelve-months. To get started, click the “buy now” link. Next select your access plan, and input your credit card details. Depending on the access plan you select, your credit card will be automatically billed each month for your MedOne Test Prep charges. If you choose to cancel your access to MedOne Test Prep, go to the “my MedOne tab”, next click the “user profile” tab, and click “cancel your access”.

Yes, you will first need to set-up a MedOne username and password by registering on a device that is in your institutional network. This is done by clicking the “access from home” link appearing on the home page.
Please check whether you have correctly entered your username and password. Make sure that your keyboard caps lock (shift key with arrow pointing upward) is not enabled. Please be aware of upper/lower case.
If you are using a newly set password from an unsolicited email and cannot login, please try again after 30 minutes. If after 30 minutes with your new password you cannot log in, please contact the help desk: MedOne@thieme.com
We can then tell you which user name you have registered at MedOne Test Prep. The password we cannot view due to security reasons. Therefore, you would have to optionally assign a new password using the "forgot password" feature.
